OK. I want to get myself into a single-cab rig. To this end, I've got several cabs I want to part with, either as trade bait or straight sale.

1 - Schroeder 1212L - 8 ohms, super good condition. - gone (elsewhere)

2 - Home-Brew 16x5 - 8 ohms, 500-ish watts, good to very good condition:

(I've added casters and a plain expanded aluminum grille since this pic)

3 - GK 410SBX - 8 ohms, 400 watts, good to very good condition.

4 - GK 115BPX cab that's been reloaded with an Eminence Kappalite 3015LF and a Galaxy mid driver on a crossover (no L-Pad) - 8 ohms, excellent condition

(no pics of this one)

5 - Fender Bassman 250/210 combo - sold locally

CASH PRICES:

gone on the Schroeder
$250 on the 16x5, plus some gas money if i meet you somewhere - NO SHIPPING ON THIS CAB
$200 plus shipping on the GK-4x10
$200 plus shipping on the GK 1x15
$250 plus shipping on the Fender combo

TRADE INTERESTS:
6x10 cabs (ported only please)
4x12 cabs
bigger Schroeder cabs - 21012, 2101212, etc
possibly interested in 8x10 cabs?
hit me with other suggestions -

Not interested in trades for basses, effects, heads or other stuff. Only different cabs.

Ideally, I want to make the deal within a few hours (let's say 4 each way) of Kansas City. And would much rather do a trade deal than a straight sale.

also - the "plus shipping" part of the price - i don't have time, resources or materials to pack these myself. but we know the UPS store is overpriced on their stuff if you pay them to pack and ship for you. so here's my deal.

i'll take it to the UPS store for packing and shipping. we'll split the cost equally.

Hey, any chance you could drag yourself, and that 16x5, to the STL GTG March 20?

slim, I know, but, it'd be neat to see if, and it should be a good hang.

I have a few more questions. When u use the Schroeder do you tilt it on its end like you have in your pic to "hear" it better? I would tilt it a 180 degrees and have the tweeter at the top and a speaker basically pointing at me for projection and "better" hearing since this is low to the ground. Have you done that and can you explain the differences?

right now when i use the schro, i put it flat on the floor. i have tried it vertically (both with tweeter up and tweeter down). with the tweeter (and angled 12) up, it seems that you can hear it better, but with the tweeter (and angled 12) down, it sounded to my ears like the bass was better. seemed to go deeper than the other way.

i posted something in your 610 wanted thread. i'd be mainly interested in the schroeder and meeting up in western kansas somewhere unless you wanted to shell out funds for shipping the 610 (should you find it an interesting option).
