FT - Mesa M6 Carbine Combo

Sign in to disble this ad
Possibly looking to trade my Mesa M Carbine combo for a Mesa Walkabout combo or separate head/cab setup. Not interested in selling at this time,

I am the only owner of the Carbine, which I bought new from Alto Music in Middletown NY in the fall of 2008. I will include all receipts and the manual as well. Unfortunately, I'm no longer with the band I bought it for, and the size and weight are more than I need for my current situation. Living on the third floor doesn't help!

The amp is in perfect working order, and very good/great cosmetic shape. As you can see from the pictures linked below, there is some light wear on the back of the combo, and on the cover (which is included) from use.

You can remove the head from the combo and use separately - just have to remove the front grill and a few screws.

I'm looking for a local trade in the southern NY (Hudson Valley) area - not interested in trying to ship this thing. Willing to drive a little bit to meet up, so anywhere from eastern PA, central/north Jersey, and western CT are also in play.

Revised trade list:
Mesa Walkabout combo or Walkabout/cab setup
Possibly a Markbass setup
Musicman Big Al or potentially a Bongo

HI

I have nothing that would make sense to trade you but if you decide to sell outright, Id like to talk to you about it. Good luck w the trade

Man this is like my total dream combo. Times are hard though and no cash is to be found in this house.

Back to the top - still looking for a trade. Even if you have something not on my list (bass or amp), feel free to run it by me.

Revised Trade List...

I have a possible new musical situation on the horizon, and while I'd be happy going into it with the Carbine, I'm not looking forward to the prospect of hauling the combo up to my third floor apartment on a weekly basis.

So a revised (again) list of trade items is below.

Preferred:
Walkabout head + cab
Orange Terror Head + ?? cab

Open to:
GK (possibly + cash on your end depending on the GK gear)
Markbass

I've become a fan of 12's lately, but open to other speaker setups. Feel free to throw other ideas my way.

Sweetwater lists the combo as 114 lbs. That sounds about right - maybe a little less.

Thanks for the offer. Shipping would be pretty prohibitive on this due to the size and weight. Only interested in a local deal right now.
