For Trade is my SWR SM-500. I bought it to compare with my Demeter preamp and Yamaha power amp. After much agonizing and A/B testing I have come to the conclusion that they both sound amazing but I do not need both of them. So I have decided to keep the separates and sell/trade this SWR.
You all know this amp. 250w stereo at 4ohms, 500w bridged mono at 4 ohms. 4 band parametric eq, Aural Enhancer, Transparency, bass and treble control, and a compressor. Really a fantastic sounding amp and it really rocks my Goliath Sr. The only flaw my unit has are some very light scratches on top and NO rack rash. You can see the protective plastic is still on the logo.
In the process I sold my p-bass to fund this amp so I am looking for another 4 string in trade. MIA Precision, MIA Jazz, Geddy Lee Jazz or a Stingray 4H, Modulus VJ or maybe a MIM 50’s P-bass with some cash from you, Warwick Corvette $$ or active…would be at the top of my list a really pretty bass is great but a solid player is fine with me too.
