I'm downsizing my rig, and going micro. Been using my Ampeg Micro stack, and it's a lot easier to get downtown than my old stack was.
So, unfortunately, that means I'm selling my beloved Gallien Kreuger 800 RB. If you know anything about these amps, you know that they're workhorses. They're fairly indestructible and will kick out tone for days.
These amps put out every bit of the 300 Watts that they claim. For just over $1 per watt, you're getting an unbelievable deal.
My unit is an older style with the horizontal rocker switch (not the newer with the vertical switch). There's really no difference though (that I've ever heard), just that some prefer the "original" version. I can get a ser. no. if you're interested in the year it was made.
Everything works great. However, the power connector in the back is missing a screw. I've always meant to replace it, but just never did. So, when you unplug the power cable, you just need to make sure you hold on to it... Really not a big deal. I'll see if I can finally find one to replace the one that's missing tonight.
