Gallien Krueger 1001RB 210 + RBH410 FS

I'm looking to sell my Gallien Krueger 1001RB 210 combo. This was for sale with a RBH410 as shown in the bottom of the two pictures but that has now sold.

This is an awesome sounding amp and very flexible too. You'll be able to cover everything from practice, small venues up to the mid and large venues, even more so if you add a cabinet.

The 1001RB is rated 540W at 4 ohms or at 380W at 8 ohms. In BI-amp mode the tweeter is powered by it's own 50W amp.

Hellacious rig (in tone and weight!). Just curious...are both the combo and the amp USA made? Any experience running it with a drop tuned four or fiver?

As far as I know all GK gear is made in the USA. These certainly are and the amps and cabs are stamped 'Made in the USA' accordingly!

Size and weight-wise it's very manageable because it's 8 speakers in two pieces! When I don't have the SUV this rig will fit in the back seat of my sedan. Show me an 8 speaker cab that you can do that with!

My four string P was just the closest bass when I was taking the pictures! I've usually played a 5 string though this and actually all my four's have de-tuners, so I know this amp can handle the Ds and Bs! The voicing switch is especially for the difference needed between 4s and 5s.

My main reason for selling is that I'm no longer playing in any rock bands and my need for that awesome cut-through GK sound is therefore no longer required. I've re-stocked accordingly and while I'm tempted to hang on to this one, it's sad to see it gathering dust in the basement instead of being used.
