A few months ago I was absolutely GASing for one of these. I jumped on one that was up on the bay and I couldn't be happier. Blue, I noticed that you too seem to be pretty fond of the 400RBs. Here is something that B-String first told me about. Replace all three of the LF353 opamps in the preamp with AD823s (digitech has them). Maaaann the things it does for the sound of these! I will never go back. Increased articulation, less noise, more headroom and the growl factor has increased tenfold. It's simply unbelievable. Now that I have made this change to my own 400RB, I will never sell it. I will write in my will that it is to be buried with me. Oh and free bump
