Exclamation Genz Benz Rig

Sign in to disble this ad
This was just purchased from TB member pbass62.

This is the venerable Genz Benz NeoX 212T, slightly older with carpet but in excellent and 110% working condition. In addition, there is a NeoPak 3.5, with the optional carrying case, and a speaker cable.

Here are the Genz Benz pages, respectively:

NEOX | GENZ BENZ
| GENZ BENZ

I would like to try and keep things local. Pricing: 212 = $500, NeoPak = $300

The good news is, 'local' for me can either be the metro DC and northern Virginia area, OR the central NJ / NYC area, as I often bounce back and forth between them.

If you are very interested and need them shipped, shipping would be extra and would be from 22205. Packed and boxed weight was around 70 lbs for the cabinet, 15 lbs for the head. The cabinet unboxed is probably hovering around 50-55 lbs, and the head around 10 lbs.

Attached are the pictures. Please PM with any questions or offers. I would consider a trade + cash (heavy on the cash) for any smaller rigs - say a 2 10 or 1 15 combo.

Thanks for looking!

Deal of the Day/ Genx Benz Neox 212 Cab and Neopak 3.5 Head
So what if he is asking more than he paid for it-he can ask what he wants for it.Feel free not to buy it.

Not your place to question a sellers price.

Thanks for the support, guys. I hate to have to even let this setup go - been interested in owning this GB combination for a long time. But as of now, I need to come up with cash, fast!

PM's received and answered. Looks like the cabinet will be called for and gone in the next few days.

Yes, I would like to recoup shipping costs if possible, and both prices are at or below what these things sell for normally on TB anyway (search the classifieds and the NeoX's are around $500 + and the NeoPaks at least $325)... But if the TB 'market' feels those prices are unfair, I will be offered different amounts.

If you would prefer for me to wait until I receive it (by tomorrow or Wednesday), please kindly tell me. But I am in a bit of trouble with money, so I wanted to get this listed as soon as possible.

I have also been a supporting TB member for quite a while, and have a decent amount of all positive feedback.
Fair Enough. I've deleted my post questioning your motives so it won't be the first thing people see when they check your post.

This reply should bump you back to the first page.

Thanks for that, and I do appreciate you trying to flag users who are attempting to cheat the system or con others. I can promise, however, that I am not one of them!

Cheers!

FYI, GB lists the 212 at 53 lbs., not 70. I grabbed one by the handles once and it seemed even lighter than that.

I am the original seller of the GB Rig.

Yes the actual weight of the cabinet as I packaged to Paul was 70LB weighed by FED X.

The GB site says the cab is 50lb but it is actual more like 58lbs.

The package for the amp was weighed by fedx at 15lbs

The amp and cab are in Exc condition!!

I have the same cab, and I can carry it with one hand. I wouldn't be surprised if the scales at Fedex are a little heavy.

I'm willing to consider shipping - costs would be split between buyer and me, leaving from 22205. Boxed weights: cabinet = 70 lbs, head = 16 lbs.

Also considering cash + small combo (200-300 watt, 2x10) trades.

PM with offers.

Thank you so MUCH for the support Kevin. Received the rig today - it truly is killer, and is going to be a shame to let this one go...

PMs replied, as well. Thanks for the offers, and cabinet may be on hold! Head is still very much available.

Exclamation

I got some relief funds from selling other items for my money troubles, so for NOW, I can keep this very awesome bass setup.

I am closing the thread, but will re-open (or start a new one with my own pictures) if anything changes.

Thanks for looking, and sorry for any inconvenience!
