Price drop! $800 shipped, $750 (cash) for local pickup.
Hi Folks,
Up for sale is a Genz Benz ShuttleMAX 12.0 amp. Serial number 09001130. Manufacturer info and full specs can be found by CLICKING HERE. Info, condition, terms
I bought this amp new from Gelb Music in Redwood City, CA, in October of this year. It's been on two gigs, and has otherwise seen frequent but light use in my living room as I experimented with pre-blend and EQ settings. It's in great condition and has not been stressed or abused. Aesthetically, there are some light scratches in the black paint of the housing, and the pics below accurately represent the appearance.
Included with the amp are the Genz Benz padded carry bag and a heavy-duty 12' power cable. {{ EDIT: footswitch also included. Thanks to Allen for the assist!}} I do not have the original box, but if shipping is involved in the transaction I will certainly pack the amp with great care.
Price is $875, which includes insured UPS Ground shipping within CONUS. Paypal is fine, but I'd much rather have payment where I don't need to eat fees. Preference given for local pickup (SF Bay Area), with a price of $825 in cash. If you're outside of the continental US and gotta' have it, let's talk...but I strongly prefer a simple domestic transaction. So why am I selling?
This thing really does sound great. And it's incredibly light. I honestly have no complaints with it. I bought it mainly for flexibility, and because I really dug the sound of blending the FET & tube pre-amps with my MTD and Sadowsky basses. The reason it's up for sale - plain and simple - is that I've sampled the Shuttle 9.0. That amp is a better fit for me for a few reasons: size, ease of running a 4-ohm load, and fewer knobs (I'm a simple man, with simple needs. ) Pics & sound clips
Fresh pixels from an hour ago:
And a cellphone gig shot, for mojo & good measure:
Sound clips from that gig (w/ Mike Lull M5V & 2x Aguilar GS112): Stevie... Funky... Summary
Let's close this deal. Near-new amp + carry bag priced to sell. Thanks for your time and let me know if you have any questions!

Thanks!

This really is a great amp, and if I didn't have an Epi 902C for my "heavy lifting" it'd be a no-brainer to keep it. |
