GK MB150S-III 112 Combo Amp + ATA Case

Sign in to disble this ad
These days I just simply don't have much use for it. If you're reading this ad you probably know what you're getting. I'd say it's in very good condition -- a few superficial scuffs on the back and sides but no dents, and all of the knobs are accounted for and turn perfectly.

For those who aren't familiar with these, they've been very popular for over a decade with upright players. But they're also great for small gigs and rehearsals as long as you're not in a metal band. You can add a 1x12 extension cab that supposedly adds a lot of volume, but I've never tried that. Basically, I just had this thing while I was auditioning for bands -- I learned very quickly that it's no fun to bring 100 pounds of gear that takes 30 minutes to unload and set up, only to find out within 5 minutes that there's no way you'd play with these guys...

Here are the stats:

POWER <1% THD:
100W (150W with Extension Cabinet)
COOLING:
Convection
INPUT SECTION:
1/4" Jack, -14dB Pad and Volume
VOICING FILTER:
Low Cut, Adjustable Contour and High Boost
EQUALIZER:
Active Four-Band
OUTPUT:
Master and Limiter (Switch, Level and LED)
DIRECT OUT:
XLR Pre/Left, XLR Post/Right and Ground Lift.
PATCHING:
Send, Return, Line Out, Aux In and Head Phone.
SPEAKER OUTPUT:
Two 1/4" jacks and Speaker Switch.
WOOFER:
1xGK-Paragon 12LB150-8 Stamped Frame, 12", 100W Low Resonance Suspension
CONSTRUCTION:
0.1" Aluminum Chassis, 18 Gauge Steel Grill, Heat Sink Top Cover and Mic Stand Mountable
WEIGHT:
26 lbs
DIMENSIONS:
13.5"W x 16"H x 8.5"D

I've also got a nice ATA case for traveling (not made by Gallien Krueger... not sure who makes it actually). The amp's handle and feet must be removed in order for it to fit into the case, but I have them in a baggie.

I'm asking 475 for the whole shibang plus shipping, or 425 for just the amp (I can use the case for my Orange combo). Sorry, I'm not interested in trades at this time. In fact, I don't think this will be the last item of mine you'll see in the "For Sale" section.

Sorry to those who've sent my PM's... I sold this long ago locally. I'd delete this ad if I could figure out how to do so.
