Here's my understanding: GK made a few tweaks to this amp through different production runs. most were only about making manufacturing more efficient.

I understand that the first revs (1 to 3 maybe) sounded like the "5 string switch was engaged" from classic models, bumping the deep lows.

This one is v5, which is eq'd like the switch isnt engaged, though you can boost the deeps with eq. i think it is audibly identical to the last revisions (6&7).
