Wow, that is a killer deal on a monster head! I've put my 2001RB up against a number of "big bad bass heads" of similar size and rated power, and I have to say, it leaves most of them in its dust. This is a seriously loud, seriously good head at a seriously great price!

GK2100RB

I don't use it Bi-amped. I just use 540W from the clean channel. I use it at 2 Ohms (2-4 Ohm boxes) no problem. I have never used it bridged to 1080W (have no need to kill anyone).

Check with GK and others on this board about bridged 2 Ohm operation. You can download the manual at the GK website.

Is it 2 Ohm Stable?

Here's my concern. I have a 4 Ohm DRB 2460 and a 8 Ohm 1260. I can run both cabs at 540W watts with the 2100RB. I can run both cabs at 300 and 100 Watts respectively with the 800RB...sounds great. But I would have to run the 1260 @ 50W with the 1001RB...I don't know if 50W is adequate to powere it? The 1260 is a slant that I put on top of the 2460 and really acts as a food stage monitor for me...........that's why I wanted to run the both together at 2 Ohms.
The BX 1500 will do that and is a light weight to boot.

Any comments on similar situations ok.
