Up for sale is a Grace Design 101 microphone preamp / DI that I was planning to use on electric bass. But it never left the house. I bought it from its original studio owner, who used it sparingly. There is extremely minor rack rash on the top, and you can see the minimal evidence in the photos. It comes with the original power source, packaging and manual. I am asking $350 shipped in North America (which is $50 less than I paid for it, minus the shipping costs). I'm open to trade options; shoot me an offer. But cash is king.
The Grace 101 has a reputation for being one of the cleanest, most transparent preamps on the market, and is completely peerless at its price point, let alone anything under $2k. It has an ungodly amount of gain, and fantastic dynamic sensitivity. It is angelically clean. I thought I might be able to convert myself from using highly coloured gear, but I can't seem to drum up the hi-fi proclivities buried within me.
