For sale is a very cool, fairly rare Hartke amp, the HA1400. Four bands of active EQ (+/- 15 dB), switable compressor, "shape" functions (makes it sound very tube-y!),effects loop, 140 watts @ 4 ohms, VERY light and small (1 rack space), in good shape. Would be a great mini-rig amp, practice amp, or backup for a heavy tube amp (nothing worse than blowing a tube without a backup!) For trades, I'm interested in a very nice P Bass pickup (Nordstrand, Fralin, etc), or a cheap 5-string (love SXs!) Pic later tonight. |

I ask because like Frog, if I got this I would turn it into a combo, but it's got to be lightweight.

My combo measures 17h X 17w X 11d, made from common 1/2" plywood (not good stuff, just something I had lying around)

K | I've got a hemp cone Basslite (about 4 1/2 lbs.) and some 1/4" birch (it would have been strong enough with the right bracing), but I was concerned that the combo would still be at least 35+ pounds. Curses for being so hesitant!!!
