The BATT preamp has a
12AX7 preamp tube and an EL84 output tube. You can take the signal straight from the preamp section or also run it through the output tube for some more grit. The eq is three on/off boosts for lows, mids & highs along with a sweepable tone control. It's limited but very musical. From left to right the three pots are gain, tone & master output.
I'm the original owner, bought it in the early 90's. I swore I'd never sell this one but I've been using my Sarno preamp more. On the rear panel you have a line level output and an instrument level output so you can feed into a power amp & another preamp or head, very flexible. And since it has a tube output section, you can directly drive a speaker cabinet (with a whopping 4 watts!) for home practice/recording. Everything works fine other than a little scratchiness in some of the pots. Owners manual included.
$265 shipped, Paypal is fine. Please no lowball offers, I'm in no hurry to sell. Sorry, no trades.
