FS ~ MESA 400+ (SOLD) / MESA PH 212

I never in a million days thought I'd be selling ANY PART of this dream rig... especially not so soon after finally being able to put it all togther, but circumstances being what they are...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~FOR SALE~~~~~~~~~~~~~
!!!HOLIDAY PRICE ADJUSTMENT!!!
(SOLD) Mesa Bass 400+ in great condition with PsychoBassGuy's 12AU7 mod... $950 plus $60 shipping/packaging/insurance. I've only had a few months of enjoyment with this amp, but it is the tone I had coveted for a very long time. It's just way too heavy a schlep for someone like me who gigs 4 to 5 times a week.... damn my aging body to heck! (SOLD)
I'm also selling my one remaining Mesa Powerhouse 212 cab (8 ohm), also in great condition with cover and TrakLok casters... $450 plus $80 shipping/packaging/insurance. I'd been using this cab (along with a 2nd one just like it) for about a year and a half, up until about a month ago, when I had to downsize due to health considerations. While there is a nick here and a scuff there on the tolex, the casters are where the wear is most noticeable (and even that's not that bad). This cab is loud and will cover most any gig. I always thought it was nice to be able to "feel" your basslines as well as hear them, and this cab is able to provide that "feel"!
My "heartbreak sale" ( ) means that this here's an opportunity for someone to save a couple o'hunnert $$$ on an EXCELLENT, GUT-RATTLING cab. It's also a shot at getting one of those AWESOMELY TONEFUL, inexplicably discontinued all-tube beasties.
See pics down below.
Do these cabs have the players network?
Both cabs have the most recent version of the full crossover network panel.
Having been asked to provide a shipping quote... I've now set a flat fee for shipping anywhere in the contiguous 48...
$80 for each cab, and $60 for the 400+... which includes 'pro packing' and insurance. Depending on where you live, this is potentially a terrific deal on the "send".
I've edited the original post to reflect these amounts.
More cab #1 pics; one of the "scuffs" in the tolex, and the typical wear to the casters:
A great amp for downsizing would be an Epifani 902C. Are you interested?
I'm also selling my two Mesa Powerhouse 212 cabs (8 ohm), also in great condition with covers and TrakLok casters... $500 each plus $80 shipping/packaging/insurance. I've been using these cabs for about a year and a half now, and while there is a nick here and there on the tolex, the casters are where the wear is most noticeable. One cab covers most club gigs, while the occasional outdoor or large hall gig gets both. I always thought it was nice to be able to "feel" your basslines as well as hear them!
My having to downsize and economize (although I'm planning on sticking with Mesa) means that this here's an opportunity to save a couple o'hunnert $$$ on a pair of EXCELLENT, GUT-RATTLING cabs... and a shot at one of those inexplicably discontinued all-tube beasties.
Thanx, but...
Epifani is another of those "omg" rigs I once lusted after, but I'm pretty much a Mesa guy now, and with the new "mini" rig coming in already... I'm just looking for a straight sale.
Wish I had money right now. You have no idea.
You wouldn't happen to need any organs would you?
Well, now that you mention it...
...a brand new right-side Achilles Tendon would be nice!
But, money for medical bills will have to suffice.
I'd go gimp for this set up. Thanks for the shipping quote but I think I'm going to have to pass. I hate it though, I played one for about an hour the other day, I was waiting for them to pull the old "buy it or get out" on me.
Just another pic to maybe convince one of you that you really need to have this monolith pumping behind you!
(...actually just another reminder for me to feel like crap at having to sell this baby... )
