Okay boys, after much gut wrenching thought I have decided to let these cabs go. They look so nice, are super portable at about 30LBS and are 8 ohms each.
I am selling one. I sent the other one back to Don at LDS. There is a good chance you can get them both, if you want them and I'd be happy to help you with that in whatever way I can.
For whatever reason these cabs would not work for my tone goals, but as you can see from Kjung's PM to me (made public with his permission) there is not a thing wrong with the cabs. Its just something that does not match up with me and my tone goals and these cabs.

That 112HO build with those ports is a relatively standard design for Don, so it must just be something strange in your technique, tone, attack, tone goals, etc. that just 'line up the planets' in all the wrong way.

These cabs do not have tweeters as I have virtually no high-end in my tone (I play in a roots rock, rockabilly, 50s rock band). They are built very well and I give them 10/10 in cosmetic condition. I have played them about 5 times (one outside one hour set gig and 4 rehearsals) so they are essentially new.
