LDS 15/6

Up for sale is my lovely Low Down Sound 15/6

Awesome cab but my tonal goals have changed so I'm offering it up for sale. $550 is what I'm looking to get for it. If I had the shipping materials I'd be willing to ship but for now it will have to be local buyers only though I'm willing to drive a reasonable distance from Roseville, CA to meet up.

In perfect condition with absolutely no issues.

Some specs:

  • 15" Eminence neo Kappa (3015LF)
  • 18 sound 6nd410 6.5" mid-range
  • Crossover at 800 Hz
  • 30.5" tall, 20.5" wide. 16" deep or so
  • bar handles
  • 2-spkn--1 1/4" input.
  • Vintage metal corners
  • Fender smooth brown tolex
  • Mojo small hole can grillcloth
  • Approximately 50 lbs

Bump for a killer cab. I have pretty much the same LDS box and it slams. Feed it 500 or more watts into 8 Ohms and be happy, happy, happy ;-)

It's definitely a great looking, great sounding cab.

Lots of interest in shipping (which I'd do if I had a box big enough and proper packing materials) but still no takers locally.

Bump!

Another bump from an LDS 15/6 owner. Everything said above is true - make the drive, you will be very very happy.....

Sure, let me know if you'd like to try it out. And yes, that's an L pad for the mid driver. I didn't list it in the specs because quite honestly outside of the first day I got the cab I haven't touched it at all and forgot it was there!

If the cab doesn't sell in a week or two you could come by and also check out my new Stambaughs - one is done and ready to ship and the other is about a week or so behind.

Bump!
If you get around to shipping you may want to check out a UHaul store for a quality sturdy box or two and packing material. I've used their boxes several times and their prices are very reasonable. For big cabs I use the 27" TV box which is 24.5" x 24.5" x 27.5". You probably need one 27" TV box and one 20" microwave box which is shorter box for the top since the cab is 30" tall. See links below. My 2 cents...glbro
