SOLD!
I bought this cab from Tom Bowlus a year or two back, and haven't regretted it for a second. He described it to me as having clear, smooth, articulate musical mids and highs, with polite tight lows, and he was right on all counts. Here an ad he posted for it some time before:
LDS 3-way neo 3x8 (with padded Tuki cover)
And here's his pic:
I'll post my own pic soon, but the cab hasn't left my house even once, so the condition hasn't changed. It includes a custom-fitted padded cover as shown in Tom's ad. The cab finish is that Rhino-Liner type super rugged coating. The speakers are three 8" neos, a 5" mid, and a tweeter. The cab weighs 51 lbs., and is rated 5.3 ohms. 16" deep, 16" wide, and 26" tall (including feet).
I was using it primarily with my BSX EUB, for which it is
perfect. I really couldn't imagine a better cab for DB or EUB, for medium-small club gigs, or for nice full tone at home (which is how I used it). And it's also excellent for BG'ers who play clean, articulate upper-register stuff, jazz fretless etc. I'm selling my EUB, and going for a darker/heavier 5-string BG sound for myself lately, so I won't be using this cab, so here you go.
I can't recall exactly what I paid Tom for it, but how about I ask (price drop!)
$350 shipped to most of the US; $360 if you're near the East Coast or deep Southeast. It is in excellent shape, never driven hard (unless Tom did, IDK

), with only the most minimal marks from use. Even the plastic corners are barely scuffed.
For trades I would consider any compressor I haven't reviewed yet, or a 1x15, 2x12 or similar deeper voiced cab (tweeter not needed). A Bag End S15B-D would rock my world.

And I can add cash if the cab you offer for trade is pricier than this one. I could also add cash toward a trade for one of these basses: Hamer USA 5-string, Warwick Flashback 5-string, or G&L L-5000 (must weigh less than 10 lbs. for any of them).
Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!
