OK so I have two of these, and just got a epifani 502 in trade. So.... let's see what we can get. These are kinda hard to come by. One of the best sounding preamps I have played with. Both are from around the same time frame 06-ish I think

controls front:
mute switch, active/passive switch, vol, tone, bright switch, bass, headphone vol.

backside:
DI with ground lift, two sends, tube slot and voltage switch. More pics later.

has a very nice midrange character to it. But I imagine if you are looking you may know what it does already.

would like to get 400 or best offer!!!

more pics later (close up... so on)

Man!! I wish I could grab this! I'd very much prefer my LETV to be racked instead of the desktop.
BTW, does this have a transformer, or does the DI run straight through the tube?

You could very well be correct. I know the latest model (desktop only in 2008) didn't utilize a transformer, but ran the DI directly through the 6S*7 tube instead. I have tremendous regrets for letting that one go.

Man!!! This is an incredible deal guys&gals! If I didn't already have three preamps--one of them being a desktop LETV--I'd snag this quick. Someone really ought to buy one of my pres so that I can help this man out.

Bump for my favorite preamp.

Like I need another Preamp but I just put you out of your GAS misery.
How do you think that it will compare to my Ampeg SVP-Pro?

Firstly, bummer for me, but great for you!
Secondly, perhaps funkucan'ttouch has an answer for you, for I don't. I've not ever played an SVP-Pro--or any Ampeg for that matter--so I cannot compare. What I can tell you is that the LETV has incredible mids and great detail. It also has a wonderful liveliness I've not found elsewhere and it really sings to me.
