From left to right on the front panel is as follows,
Input jack,mute switch,active/passive switch,volume knob,treble knob,bright switch,bass knob,Headphone volume,Headphone jack,Power Switch.
The back panel has two 1/4 outputs,XLR/DI,ground lift switch,110/220 switch.

I have had several preamps that you would have to spend hours tweeking knobs to get close to your tone but with these they did such a good job when they designed this pre that you dont need to tweek with the knobs very much at all in fact I leave the pre close to flat and my bass is set flat,the pre is so transparent that I would make most all of my tone adjustments on my bass if needed and it would add just the right amount of boost and tone and send it to the amp and unlike some other mass produced units each bass really has its own distinct sound in a good way.
