I used one in the mid to late 1980's, it was tight and punchy as hell my only issue was with the metal case as the heat sink that sucker would get hot! You can see Darryl Jones rocking one in one of the Miles concert dvd's. Developed by the people from the original Acoustic company. |

Actually, it's my understanding that Rabe contributed to the preamp circuit, but the power section is all-Allee.

It's officially my backup amp now, but it still sees a lot of use. The Shuttle 6.0 gets grabbed for convenience, but I love the sound of the BH-420. It is indeed the amp that I judge all others by.
