How did you mount your preamp to the quiver? Looks handy!

No trades as the original listing states.

The preamp is connected to the quiver using the belt clip that came with the k and k preamp, I just turned the belt clip 90 degrees.

I will separate:
1x12 combo $650 with cover plus shipping.
1x12 cab $400 with cover plus shipping.

Prices are firm.

Thanks.

I'd like to hear more about this rig as far a bottom end/power/thunder....I'm sure it sounds good in a low volume setting but can it be monsterous if it has to? Meaning the combo w/extension. I've "heard" stories about people trying to blow them up and they couldn't, and stories about how bad ass and punchy but still fat in a louder rock setting. I am curious for confirmation on these legendary tales.

I'll chime in......

I've got just the combo, no extension cab. Also play 5-string and it handles the B very well, even when tuned down 1/2 step. On the 3 occasions I played just the combo without PA support (no subs), it did very well. I normally played with PA support with a 5 piece bar band and the combo used as a stage monitor, volume usually set at around 1/4. I've never turned the volume up above 1/2.

Three gigs as a stand alone:
1. Outdoor gig under picnic shelter to around 100 people. Volume for gig was requested to be low. Played turned to 1/4 volume against drums and two half stacks.
2. Country club dinner gig. Couldn't play quiet enough. lol
3. Sub gig with bar band that had no subs. Room for around 200 people. Ran volume at 1/2 volume level and kept up with the 4 piece band.

The combo alone is awesome for small gigs and practice. I'm looking to get the extension cab because I've been picking up sub gigs with bigger bands that don't have subs and also bands that are playing very large venues where I need either the extra stage volume, or I'll put the extension cab on the other side of the stage so I can work both sides.

I can only say the darn thing sounds good, cuts through, has good dispersion, and I've gotten more compliments on the tone from other musicians than any other I've used.

Just my two cents......happy selling.

Had my over three years and its the only amp I take when I gig out. All my gigs I do not use the house system at all. I would like to get the extension just to use if I really need it for outside gig. This 121p is one of the best I used over 40 years of playing. All I can say is go for it, it a great setup.

What version is the CMP121? Is it the combo head or combo head 2?
