I have a used Marshall VBA 400 up for grabs. This is a great all tube head as most of you know. 400 crushing tube watts. EIGHT 6550 power tubes, 3 ECC83, and 1 ECC 82 in the preamp. This head is in very good condition. It has a couple of small scuffs on the tolex, etc., but nothing that shows from any distance. It has new EH power tubes, with probably 20-30 hours on them. The amp comes with a lightweight vinyl cover.
She sounds and looks great. It's not a lightweight for sure, probably around 70 lbs or so, but definitely lighter than an SVT!
Now, for a matter that requires delicacy and tact, which I usually don't have. I'm only posting this based on past experiences on the classifieds here, where the word "firm" seems to have no meaning.
The price of this amp is
$1200, plus actual shipping. Please, do not offer me $1199. Do not offer $300 plus your beginner model Ibanez Soundgear. Please do not offer me your GK backline head and Bullfrog 18. Please do not ask me to pick up the cost of shipping. Please, don't waste my time, or yours. I welcome questions, but if you make me an offer for anything other than $1200 plus shipping, I probably won't even respond. I'd prefer a check or money order (personal check OK if you're an established TB'er with a good feedback record). Paypal is possible, but please message me first. I welcome a local pickup to save you shipping costs, but I probably won't have time to drive and meet you half way anywhere.
