This is a really cool piece of gear. I'd consider trades for LED fx lighting, pedals,(not the usual junk.....you guys know what Im talking about), DBX 160a compressor .
I was using this in my pa rack but, we streamlined the rig and there is no room for this piece in the rack.
After thinking about it, I might have to pass, my man. I'm shooting for some monitors, so I should keep that goal in mind. Thanks for posting, though. If I feel any differently, I'll certainly let you know. How'd it end up sounding?
I like it because it actually does what it says. It makes a recording sound clearer in the low end, tighter, punchier. It worked great for making bass and drums sound good in my in-ear monitors but, I dont' have the room for it in the pa rack and don't do much recording so, it's sitting in a rack and not getting used.
There was some velcro on top of the unit to hold chords in place while it was in the gig rack. I put some small scratches in the paint trying to get it off. Damn strong adhesive. Unit still looks and works great though.
