Mesa/Boogie Buster 1x15 combo FT feeler (Twin Cities)

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey all,

I just picked up a Mesa/Boogie Buster 200 watt, all tube, 1x15 combo. It sounds so amazing I couldn't pass up the deal, but I'm a little overwhelmed, as it's more amp than I probably need and is taking up more space than I'd like.

I was wondering if anyone in the Twin Cities (or nearby) has a smallish cab (single 12, or possibly a very strong/full sounding single 10 or a tight sounding single 15) + cash ($200 or so, depending on what you have). I'm thinking Bergantino, Schroeder, Epifani, Aguilar, or maybe others?

Quick image:

Let me know what you've got . . .

Also open to cash: $525 cash pickup.

I was thinking about that one myself. Glad to see it here again on TB.

Bump for opening this up to cash offers with a starting price of $600.

I'd really prefer not to ship for obvious reasons, but if you're willing to pay however much it costs to give the amp to UPS and have them box it up and take care of everything, then I'd entertain the idea. It will be expensive though, as the amp weighs about 120 lbs. After hearing horror stories about broken tubes, etc., I really don't want to be the one responsible for packing.

The Buster is still available. However, there are a couple things in my local shops that are pulling me in, so this Buster will likely be getting traded in by this weekend. However, I'd love to hook up a Talkbass brother/sister. Reasonable cash offers will be considered . . .

So I got one reasonable trade offer, but not at the shop that has what I REALLY want, so I think a PRICE DROP is in order to help along a cash sale.

How about $550 (for local pickup)? Think of that as $200 for a solid 1x15 cab and $350 for a 200-watt all tube head made by Mesa/Boogie, all wrapped in one convenient package. What a deal!

I wish you were all local too! That would make this much easier . . .

Lex, that would completely destroy. I'm sure that would sound amazing.

Anyway, I think I'm missing some PMs for some reason. I didn't get yours. Do you want to try e-mailing? I'll write you a PM too . . .

"Hey ma, look what I found! His name's Buster. Can I keep him?"

"Of course, dear. The glow of those tubes is simply too beautiful to resist."

Hmmm, I think I'll probably have to pass. Really looking to get cash for this one at the moment to buy some stuff locally. Feel free to PM me with more specifics (amount of cash, specific Dr. Bass 115 model, etc.) and I'll think about it. Thanks!

Forgot to mention that this one's missing a few of the plastic tips that go on the EQ sliders.

Also, I believe we're due for a price drop. $525 locally!
