Mesa Boogie Buster 210 Combo Wedge

Sign in to disble this ad
I am purging some excess amps. This one is a beauty that doesn't get played very much. 2x10 combo powered by a 200 watt all tube Mesa head. Very loud for its size. Sounds even better when sitting on top of another 410 or 115 cab.
$700 plus shipping.

It's pretty damn heavy. About 90 pounds or so.

I have this little guy's bigger brother, the 400+. Any idea how the tone on this compares to the 400+? I imagine the Buster breaks up at a (mel)lower volume level, but Mesa's weren't made to be quiet, that's for sure. Wish you were closer, I'd come by and take this thing for a spin.

I have a Buster and a 400+. Their tone's are somewhat similar but definitely have some noticeable differences. My Buster feels a little less mid-focused and sounds slightly warmer. The Buster is a little cleaner at lower volumes, but you can dime it for some sweet grind (MUCH different from an SVT or even the 400+). The 400+ can get tubby if you want, but the Buster stays tight at just about any setting. The EQ on the Buster is also much simpler.

Anyway, bump for a sweet amp.

Excellent. The old Mesa/Boogie gear never stays up for long.
