Mesa Boogie Diesel 2x10 cabs

I'm selling off my old school Mesa Cabs. These are the legendary Diesel EV loaded cabs that simply destroy just about every other cab out there for midrange punch. This series of cabs has been the cornerstone of my tone for the last 10 years - but I've been steadily moving towards studio only work, so it's time to off everything that's not getting used.

Both these cabs are in great shape, but have the usual scratches and nicks from being on the road for 10 years or so. They're 8 ohms, and are rated at around 400 watts each. Roughly 65 pounds, methinks. Somebody at one point had installed wheels on one of them, but that doesn't affect the tone at all.

$200 each. I'm also interested in possible trades:

- Gibson RD (Artist or Standard)
- Mesa 2 space rack bag
- Mesa Rectifier Recording Preamp
- Gibson Victory

I'd prefer not to ship if I can help it, so let's keep this local to the San Francisco Bay Area for now.

Out of curiousity, what head did you use to play these through?

I didn't use a head, per se: I used my prototype Mesa BassTriaxis and a Mesa Strategy 500 tube power amp.
