SOLD: Mesa Boogie Strategy 500 power amp! Monster! & Rare!

SOLD on the 'bay

Mesa Boogie Strategy 500 power amp! Monster & Rare!
200+ watts of all tube power! 14 tubes total! I'm sure I will regret selling this, but I just have no need for it. I've been selling off a few items lately, cleaning house.

Just got it back from Fuchs Audio from a bench test & checkup. Excellent condition, and they put in a new power switch with a protective capacitor + a new fuse holder on the B side.

This poweramp sounds amazing with bass, and they rarely come up for sale.
$1000 shipped within the continental U.S. only. It is pretty heavy. Paypal preferred.
Sorry, no trades, unless you have a Trace Elliot V4 - 2 channel head (8 knobs version). That's it.

** ...and if you don't use it for bass, I'm pretty sure it could also be used to breathe life into Frankenstein!

Oh man, that looks so killer! Am I right in thinking that's 200 W per channel?

I'm sorry, but I have no idea. I can't find a lot of information about it.
Here's the only Boogie manual I could find:

In the manual it says "at just under 200 watts per side", so that means if you have two speaker cabs, one per channel, you will be running nearly 400 W total of all-tube power. Which is awesome, to say the least.

Local pickup would drop the price a little, if that helps.

I just ordered a Trace Elliot TVT9 preamp. If I pair that with this poweramp beast, that would be 22 tubes total. I may simply just keep it then. We'll see, unless it sells before then. It will be a few days before that decision is made.

Great preamp! I love the TVT9!

That should make for a very interesting combination.

Thank you. I should find out tomorrow how the 2 work together, unless someone takes the poweramp first.

Here's a pre-preamp drop: $1100 shipped within the continental U.S.
