I just got this awsome amp and Im actually embarrased to say that it's way to loud for me! I have never said that in my life. If nobody picks this up at a saving of $200 and shipping today, I will probably just send it back for a refund.

It sounds amazing and the compressor is the only onboard that I would ever gig with. Thats saying alot. Tick tock!

carbine m9

Before anyone asks, no, I don't have any pics, it's about an hour old! It's obviously mint. I have e-mailed the company where I bought it and if I hear from them first, it's going back, though I hate returning gear when the economy is so rough.

A little counterclockwise turn of the 'volume' or 'master' knob might do the trick. Please don't hate....I couldn't resist. Good luck with the sale. Looks like a good deal.

simple

No hate here. As with most preamps, the sound tends to improve as you turn the gain up. To low and the sound won't be as lively. Same deal here. By then, the amp is crushing loud on 1! 3 was threatening to spit the speakers out. If I was still playing in a loud band instead of going direct most of the time, this would be the head that I have always wanted.
