Mesa D-180, Mesa Road Ready 1x15

I got this from bassteban a while back, and have been using it for both live and studio work since and it has been awesome! The tone is absolutely everything people say it is!

This amp can be used as either a guitar or a bass amp, and I have used it as both since I've had it, with stellar results! It also takes pedals very well.

These amps are sort of on the rare side, and you don't see them pop up too often around here. These amps were discontinued in 1985 if memory serves me correctly, but this particular amp was made in 1982 and has aged well. It currently has both Mesa preamp and power tubes.

The amp will come with the rack pictured, which is an SKB rack. Bassteban modified the rack so the fan on the amp has no problems.

I also have the matching Road Ready 1x15 cabinet for this amp, which still has the front side of the case to fully enclose the speaker for transport. This cabinet sounds great with this amp!

D-180 - $800
Cabinet - $100 if bought with the amp, $200 if not

These prices are before shipping.

Dang - that thing looks CLEAN. (A lot cleaner than my 400, that's for sure. )

The cab is mighty tempting, as well.

If I may?

(this was mine)
Unless I'm mistaken, the cab & driver are stock; I believe it's rated for 400 watts. It is very heavy- like 80 lbs, IIRC. It's also very loud & punchy. No tweeter, but the highs are very much there. I bought this rig through Dan Lenard of Luthiers Access Group, who found it at a Chcago swap meet- we were told it was from the original owner's estate sale.
I hope this helps.
