Mesa Fathom (M6) FS

Sign in to disble this ad
Here I have a Mesa Fathom (M6). The most flexible amp I've ever used. Great tones from fingerstyle to slap to R&B to everything, it's available right in this box! Quickest response amp I've ever used. It's sad to see it go, but I have something on the way that is the only thing I would replace this with. I have the original manual and box for it. I also have the EQ button and cable so you can use any of your favorite presets and go back to the flat setting at any time. Very cool feature! $750 obo. More pictures upon request.

Those are PJB speakon cables. I kid you not, they are like garden hose sized. They add a ton of tone. They are not cheap, but they are worth it. I have 2 speakon-speakon and one speakon to 1/4. If you get cables this big keep in mind the weight you add to the jack, so especially on a 1/4, that's a lot of weight bearing down. I tape the 2 together so the angle to the jack is more dead on, and let the weigh pull down on the speakon side. Phil is a very innovative, very personable guy to talk to as well as a wealth of information. His stuff is very good, he takes no shortcuts. This cable is just an example of his work.

OBO ? (darn GAS !)

Since I am WAY in the hole, but I have GAS, I really have no business even being here in the "for sale" thread department !

I tried one of these at GC and was amazed by the tone.

I've got one and I'll say it's one of the finer bass amps of played...

At Bass Player Live the guys at MESA mentioned there were only about 200 FATHOM versions of the M6 made, the rest are CARBINE M6...

Extra added value for the exact same amp!!!

Sorry, I've been offline for a few days. I having floors refinished in my house and had no place to hook up the computer. I might not get back to everyone as quickly as I would like, so bare with me if you don't hear back right away. I try to response within 24 hrs, right now it might go longer because of the repairs. Thanks!
