Mesa mpulse 600

SOLD

OK, so I picked up an eden head which is more my sound, so now I am selling my mesa mpulse 600. I have been using the mesa for about a year, and it sounds really nice. It comes with a 4 button footswitch (solo, EQ, Compressor, FX loop). It is an older version without the speakon connectors. I put a new mesa tube in it about 3 months ago.

It has a few issues, none of which affected me, but just so you know, here they are:

1-Sometimes when turning on, it goes into solo mode for about a minute or so until it warms up. Once about a minute goes by it is just fine, so if you turn on your amp as you are plugging in the bass and tuning up, by the time you are ready to play it is just fine.

2-I think there is a loose wire on the active input, because if you wiggle the cable it gives static and strange noises. The passive input works perfectly fine.

3-The effects loop doesn't work. I don't know exactly what is wrong, but it just does weird stuff. If you don't have anything plugged into it than it is just fine. I think the switch that turns it on and off on the back of the amp may be busted, because it is really hard to switch, and has some wiggle to it, but I don't know for sure that is the issue.

OK, now that I have scared most of you off (hopefully not), I will say this: As long as you use the passive input and don't need the FX loop, it sounds and works great. I have used it for recording and some jamming for the last year, and have been really happy with it, but now that I have a new head it just doesn't get used anymore.

Update with pics (below)- I will include the rock bag case with the amp - it is a 2 space amp bag that is nice and solid and the perfect size for this amp.

Considering the condition, and the fact that someone who buys may be taking it to a tech to get serviced, I am looking for $525 shipped OBO.

No, why did you do this? I want this to go with my mesa cab.... AHHHH. I already have cash tied up, haha.

Best of luck selling this.
