Mesa Powerhouse 1000

Selling my Mesa Powerhouse 1000 cabinet. Rated for 1000 watts at 4 ohms, 4 x 10 inch speakers and one 15 inch speaker in cabinet! Has neodymium horn, player control network (with selectable crossover 3/4/5 k) speakon and 1/4 " connector. Cabinet is immaculate! Comes with padded Mesa Cover (cover does have a small tear). Looking for $800 or best ,check or money order preferred.($1439 new), cabinet still has approximately 2 years of warranty coverage through Mesa. Due to size and weight, I would prefer pickup/delivery, will meet in Chicago, St. Louis or Indy at no charge. I will ship, but it will not be cheap. Kick ass cab. It's an amazing piece of gear. I have NEVER seen a cab so well built.

Definitely, they are built like tanks! Cab has really nice lows and a pleasant all around sound. I am just going after a more mid range growl like Steve Harris has.

Thanks brother! Just hooked both cabs up for a little while and switched the impedance down to 2 ohms on my Titan. LOL, it got stupid loud so easy, it is amazing (Gain at 3:00, volume at 7:00)! Really gave me a chance to measure the character of both cabinets. The PH 1k has nice highs and thunderous lows and decent midrange. The difference in low end response is immediate! The combination of the 15 and the 4-10's just makes everything "move". The 4x12 on the other hand, is all about the mids. Don't get me wrong, the 412 still has great bass response and plenty of top end, but the midrange is really emphasized. Gives that growly clank that I like so much from Steve's playing (the Rotosounds and double "p" set up doesn't hurt either!)

****, If that were road ready I would be allover that. To go with my Road ready powerhouse. But that padded cover and tolex would get shredded from me gigging with it.

Cabinet is sold for $750.
