This is the newer black and silver faced unit. It has the noisy fan, but that never bothered me playing live. The DI is clear as a bell and it has no issues that I can find. I have played a half dozen shows with this one and it is simply great. It is NOT the amp in the picture below... the upgrades have NOT been done on this amp, so dual inputs and no effects bypass, but built like a tank and pure bass bliss!! I am only selling to fund another Lakland bass that I am chasing.
