Talking Mint Upgraded In Box Laney NEXUS-TUBE Bass AMP 400 FS/FT

Sign in to disble this ad
SOLD SOLD SOLD

I bought this about 4 months ago from a fellow TBER. It was basically new and had 10-20 hrs use on it at the most. When I received it the Laney sounded great but every once in a while the pre amp shut down. I called Laney and they honored the warranty. At a factory authorized repair center they replaced all the tubes in the amp and preamp, replaced all the fuses and did a factory modification / upgrade to the preamp. Also one of the preamp tubes was upgraded to a better quality NOS. This took about 3 months. I just got it back and it works perfectly and sounds fantastic. Has the original box and footswitch w/cable & instructions. This is a better than new amp and hard to find just not for me. It is heavy and I also prefer a much simpler amp.

Prefer to sell outright as I have way too much impulse gear. Price Drop $1,000 including $50 of the shipping. May consider trade's for a lighter amp or possibly a bass. Interested in:

Epifani UL 902C
Aguilar DB 750
Thunderfunk
Orange
Fender P Bass White
Fender Jazz Bass White
Musicman Sterling, Lakland or Warwick.

Thanks
Bill

FANTASTIC head, it's my main ride.
I had the same issue there was a mod for the pre-amp and thermal shut down, takes care of it, done.
I also have a 1975 SVT that's completely reconditioned top to bottom, new caps, filters, with all brand new 1970's NOS tubes, and I have a hard time deciding which head I like better.....
if someone wants killer tone, a powerful tube head thats like a vintage SVT with all the modern bells & whistles on it - buy this.
