Which Berg cab is that amp plugged into, and how does that combination sound?

the combination was / is what you might expect ,
old school awesomeness .

the MusicMan has a DEEP switch that will turn your head around ...
plenty of lows without the mud .

Those amps are killer. had a HD130 with a RH115 1x15 cab under it when I lived overseas. Bass you can lean into. I miss that thing.

Big +1 to that!

I had a stacked pair of HT115's (chrome grills, just like yours), and I am still trying to find the short circuit in my brain that caused me to sell them.

I'll bet that HD150 amp and that Berg sounded fantastic!

Bump

I used HD130's exclusively for years. Especially the ones with the SS front end. The tube pre gets noisy and breaks up but the SS pre stays nice and clean. These amps are fricken loud too. If I didn't just buy a Boogie Buster I might be tempted. Good Luck.

the amp is at my practice location , but if i have
to guess , i'd say that it's no more than 8 or 9 inches wide ,
and maybe 18 to 24 inches long .

this is a great example of MusicMan while Leo Fender was still at the helm ...,

Thanks Dave.

Next time you are at your practice location, please measure the length (the 18 to 24 inch figure you quoted). I'm trying to determine if it will fit on top of a Berg HD212 that's 18.5 inches wide, without sticking out over the edges.

the HD130 is 241/2 inches wide. Seems like they would be the same width.

Since it was Leo's design, I assume it has the Fender tone stack ?

Wonderful amps for both bass and guitar. I have had both the 130 and 150, and they really get it done. But Leo had nothing to do with these amps FWIW, Tommy Walker did all of the design.

This: An old MM employee (Tony Imbesi) said Leo had nothing to do with the amp end of MM, just basses.
