Neo DeltaliteII 2512 "NEEDS TO BE RECONED"

Sign in to disble this ad
Neo DeltaliteII 2512... a 12" neo speaker that needs to be reconed. I was told from Al at US Speaker the recone kit is somewhere around $30 bucks it's fairly cheap only because the Neo magnet is where all the money is. It's also worth noting that the speaker wasn't blown but when the former owner was working on the cab he poked a hole in the foam around the upper edge of the speaker with a screwdriver which Al said sometimes can be reglued and may be worth a shot before reconing. I already have installed a replacement at a cost of $220...I'm looking for $100 or OBO shipped conus for the Deltalite.

quick question--I can't tell from the photo. . . where the screwdriver punctured it (I've done this!), is the "flap" still attached, or does just the hole remain?

Having the flap still there would make it much easier to repair.

thx

Yes cvtonyd
The flap is still there, the cut is a V shape. PM me about your offer.
