I had this posted as another add but have commited to getting another cabinet so I'm letting this go for too cheap . It really is a great cabinet and someone will be getting aq steal on a brand new cab . This is a repost of the original add with the new price .
I built this cabinet as a project and it turned out absolutely great . Here is a link to my build thread .
New cab build
It uses an Eminence Legend CB158 cast frame 15 and a waveguide horn with a Selenium compession driver with a very good crossover designed by some guys on the Audiokarma web site . The cab is built out of 1/2" Birch plywood and braced very well . It's rear ported and covered in Duratex . It weighs about 50 pounds and is very easy to carry . 23"high / 20.5"wide / 14.5" deep .
It's a very balanced cabinet top to bottom and much smoother than almost any commercial built cabinet . The high end is very sweet , not harsh at all like most cabs with a horn . It does pretty well with a B string although I don't think it's broke in yet so it will probably get some deeper as it breaks in . It handles about 300 watts above 80 Hz and gets pretty loud , enough for most small to medium gigs . I tried it with my band last night and while it sounds great and keeps up we are mostly a rock band and I don't like pushing a 115 cab , even one this amazing , hard . 8 ohm .
I'd like to get $300 shipped for the cabinet . This is less than I paid for the parts to build it and a lot of hours went into building it . No paypal , money orders are good .
