Has anyone tried this amp while playing with drums and guitar? Really tempted to get it but am concerned it won't cut through the noise.

I haven't with this amp, but I use a fender rumble 100 1x15 and I've never had a problem at practice or small gigs with two guitarists, one of which is way too loud, and an overly loud drummer during practice and small gigs. Anywhere that I'm not sure of, I use the xlr out and run through the PA as well.
I think people get fascinated with the numbers and assume and give less credit than deserved and think they need humungous amps.

I started out with a 1200 watt ampeg svt 4 pro and an ampeg 4x10 on top of a single 18". I play locally, just bars and stuff and I've never looked back with my combo after selling all of that.
