NHT M-00 Powered Monitors

I am posting these in this forum because I have seen bass players add one our two of these to a 15" single driver cab as a very effective way to add mid and upper mid detail.

For sale is a pair of highly regarded NHT M-00 powered monitors. Great for recording and probably the best computer monitors out there! These speakers were made in January 2003. I purchased two pairs and a matching subwoofer in early 2005 from a dealer that was closing. One pair and the sub went to a son at college. I kept the pair I am currently selling. It was used only by me and never left my study other than a renovation and a couple of moves.

As for reliability, two other sons also have the same satellite/sub setups; so a total of 8 satellites and three subs. For 9/10 years we have had one problem – a $15 capacitor failed in one of the subs.

The pictures really accentuate scuffs and rubs because of the daylight and intense flash. I could have turned it off, but wanted to show as much as possible. The cabinet is die-cast aluminum and powder coated with a semi-smooth black finish - very durable but does scuff up a bit. Nothing goes through to the base metal - cosmetic only.

I tested the RCA, TRS 1/4inch and balanced inputs; all worked fine. The switches and controls on the rear panel also check out. The speakers sounded great with no buzzing, etc. Again these are powered with a 75 watt amplifier in each speaker.

Asking $345, including insured CONUS shipping east of Mississippi add $10 if west.
