New in box Genz Benz NEO-PAK 3.5. I just got it and I'm realizing that for what I'm currently involved with SS is what I need. It has never left my house and has only been out of the box for a couple of hours.

You don' tneed a 2 ohm version. I have this head in the 4 ohm with the GB Neo212 and it's all I'd even need. I paid $700 for mine. This is a steal. Someone buy it and be very happy.

No. Upon close inspection of the pic of the amp rear, I see "4" ohm minimum load.

When Genz-Benz updates the original Neo-Paks for 2 ohm operation, they place a "2" sticker over the "4".

Having said that, this is a great deal on a gently used Neo-Pak. These little heads rock! They can really chuck out the current at high volumes, as they are more of the masterful G-B over-engineering.

I'm almost tempted to pick this one up as a backup!

I've got one of these and am THRILLED with it. If you plug a NeoPak into a UL410, you can hear what it would sound like if God played bass!

how do these heads compare to the GK rb series? im looking for something with the punch of my 700 rbII but a little warmer sounding yet. does the tube pre amp warm it up a bit?
