I have for sale one of the rarer TraceElliot Amps out there...a 300 watt all tube goodness Trace Elliot Hexavalve amp. I have owned it it for about a year, and it is just one hell of and amp. I am really going to miss it, but I need to recoup some cash.
(The only reason I am parting with it is I just bought a Santa Cruz Tallboy Carbon Mountain Bike; nice chunk of change went towards that)
Powered by 6 KT88 tubes, this amp can get some serious volume....and it weighs in at less than 50 lbs. (take that Ampeg!)
The lore around these amps is quite interesting. If you dig for some info on these, it seems that maybe 60 were made, with only 20 or 30 reaching the shores of the USA. Of those, who knows how many are left? So you have a real rarity in the this one.
As mentioned, the amp gets some great volume. What's interesting is that the volume is clean for quite a ways up the volume scale before it breaks up. The tone is fantastic! There is a mid-scoop button, EQ in/out button as well as a noise reduction feature. It has foot switchable 12-band EQ which is very powerful as well as fader that can mix an unaltered signal with the EQ. It has a DI as well as an effects loop and a preamp in/power amp out. Purty niiice!
Price for this relatively lightweight beastie is 850.00 plus shipping
to wherever you reside. I'm really not looking for trades on this one....any other questions feel free to ask.
