Pair Ampeg SVT-215e cabs with Peavey

Sign in to disble this ad
I decided to sell my Baby Amp "Little Boy" not for any particular reason other than a slight change of direction on the 215 cabs and to generate additional funds to build my very large sub woofer system.

What we have here is ONE BRANDY NEW SVT-215e 2X15" ported fridge cabinet. It was bought in Novemeber 2008 from the music store and has been sitting in the corner of my living room. I registered the warranty and it has been played but not gigged. There is also a USED SVT-215e, sounds identical to the brand new one, has been gigged. Some bangs but still looks good. Pair $1300

I've coupled this with my dual Peavey CS-800s rack with a Behringer Bass V-Amp PRO modeling preamp mounted in a SKB ROTO-X 8U rack. The photo shows the Power panel, but that would not go with the system as it trips due to over current and is more of a pain than its worth. (Each of these amps draw approx 12 AMPS and it trips quickly over 15A) $900

The CS-800s is rated 1200 Watts bridged @ 4 Ohms and one each drives each 215 cab. This unit hauls. The modeling Preamp, does all sorts of cool things and is switch selectable to model things from Bassman to SVT-2PRO and it does sound just like them.

$2200.00 FOB Sioux Falls, SD for the whole deal.

This could be a great way for you to get yourself a rig that is scaleable for different sized shows and powerfull enough to scare the straights.

I'll be pleased to answer any questions regarding this rig.

Also have a very nice SVT-410HLF $500.00

Sincerely, BOB BONNER

Well Johnathan, I suppose you're right. I know you were just being smart alikey, but I changed the ad slightly.

There's no way I would EVER PART THE TWO 215 cabs unless it was two buddy's picking them up at the same time. It took 6 months to collect them in the first place. I drove 2000 miles to buy the NEW one. One does ME NO GOOD as they work with my big rig.

The head is the head you're right if somebody knocked on my door the head is out the door. Not because I don't like the rig, but because I already have "Fat Man" pic on my profile page and I can practice on the big rig and if I was gigging I would take the big one anyway.

Wow bump. That is a massive rig you have there. This is not me being a smart ---...but, how do you transport 6 large cabs and that 350 Lbs rack?
Wish I had a touring date soon that I could use those cabs on. My marshall VBA400 would love them.

Currently not in a band, so don't need to transport anything at the moment. They all fit nicely in my honda civic.

YES all 215e cabs were MIA. I found this one by talking with Dino at AMPEG and he said I know a store that still has some. Apparently this store bought a bunch of them and the guy's band used all but ONE and this one was just sitting there waiting for me to come and buy it.

Can't do any trades, looking just to generate $$$$ for the sub system. Also dont want to break my pair up... Unless you have a bud who wants it and ship together. Because I dont want to get stuck with ONE. I can use two, but not one.

What I can do is build a pallet to sit both on and cover in cardboard for ship... Can take to shipping place for payment by you... I just dont know, the shipping might be killer.

The big companies have deals worked out to make it tolerable. For instance, I bought a road case for a fridge cab. Cost $125 to ship it to california where I bought an 810...

The deal was, OK I want the driver to wait, the guy is going to drop the cab into the case and drive away.

They wanted $450 to ship the case and cab to South Dakota... Say what? Well you dont have an account with us, yeah and I never will pal, click...

I do have one with YELLOW freight and somebody else... Well FedEX cargo, they are probably the best come to think of it.
