Peavey Alpha Bass

Sign in to disble this ad
Peavey alpha bass head. 160w (6x6L6, 4 12ax7) all tube goes down to 2 ohms.

One of the rack ears is slightly bent, but everything is in working order. It's pretty light for a tube

NOW $275 SHIPPED

I do have the top cover off in this picture, but it does exist. Also, any damage was there before I got it. Everything is in great working order. This mother is a beast especially with big cabs (2x15, or 8x10).

Passive fretted. I'm pretty open. Squier vm tele bass is at the top. P basses. 5 string jazz. Vintage styled is preferred vs modern basses. Matsumoku plant basses are cool with me too.

Bump-to-help-get-this-outta-my-SIGHT! These get awfully close to a D-180 in volume. Maybe a bit more grindy, dunno- never A/B'd the two very extensively.

There is supposed to be a 12au7 in the pre, but I swapped ot with a 12ax7 to get some more gain. Definitely has some tasty grind. price drop as well.

OMG I just soiled myself. Sadly, I've had no work for months, or I'd have sent money by now.

that setup was MASSSSSIVE. the fact that my practice space is in my basement makes going up and down stairs, so I had to get rid of it because it was hard to move.
