Peavey CS 3000

I'm closing the listing because the amp's on Ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/300611065986...84.m1555.l2649. Please feel free to bid there. Thanks for looking

I'm reposting this amp because my guitarist just acquired a a bunch of PA gear, allowing me tolet go of some things. This amp is a powerhouse and a work horse. I've used it for multiple functions. It's never let me down and always sounds great. Most recently, I used it to power a set of subs - never let up, great damping, definitely comfortable doing the heavy lifting down in the trenches.

I'm the second owner. Nice condition, a little wear on the mounting holes on front, but clean and works great - recently checked out by my amp guy. Very reliable, lots of power. Details on the Peavey site: Peavey :: CSŪ 3000

I'd like to get $250 plus shipping but feel free to make an offer (continental US only, please). I'm located in Milwaukee - would be willing to meet you halfway up to a 100 mile drive (for me) or will drop off anywhere within the Madison, WI and Chicagoland radius.

Here are the specs:
Power ratings:
3050W, 4 ohms bridged
2000W, 1 x 2 ohms
1275W, 1 x 4 ohms
750W, 1 x 8 ohms
1500W per channel, 2 x 2 ohms
1025W per channel, 2 x 4 ohms
650W per channel, 2 x 8 ohms
Frequency response: 10Hz-100kHz
Size: 2RU (Dual rackspace)
40 lbs

Full disclosure: I guess the first owner thought it would be cool to black out the CS3000 model number on the front. Did a very good job (you don't notice it's blacked out unless you know where the model number is supposed to be). In my world, this is a minor cosmetic issue. But there you have it.

The amp is shown in a 4 space SKB rack (good condition, with both covers and all latches working like new). If you want the rack case, add $50 to the shipped price above.

Pictures are at the original sale thread: Peavey CS3000

Thanks for looking. PM me with offers or questions.

I blacked out the CS3000 and the Peavey, per request from my Amp sponsor at the time.

Thanks, Shawn. I always wondered. You did a nice job. I didn't really notice till I happened to see another CS 3000 at the same gig I was playing. Hope things are well.
