Looks really cool! How does this compare in tone, feel, volume, etc to your typical high-quality 410? Uber, Aguilar DB/GS, Berg, etc?

It's pretty damn loud, seems louder than a 2x10 but not quite into the 4x10 volume territory, and the sound is mids mids mids mids mids with an extra dose of mids for good measure. It seems to like amps that are big and juicy, I'd like to bring an old tube head to the shop someday and see what that does to it. Probably mmmmmmmmagic.

There's some detailed info info here, frequency chart, volume comparison, etc:

Fascinating, Captain.

Seems like it might pair well with the Streamliner.
Does mids mids mids mean it's honky and thin sounding? Or lacking in bottom?
I like mids, but I want a solid fundamental too. I play mostly rock, some jazz. I want a solid low B without boominess, is this the right cab for that?

When I sell my DB112s, I might want to try out this guy.

I'll try it with a 5-string to see how the B-strang sounds, but I don't think it lacks in lows really, the front ports seem to take care of that pretty well. Maybe tomorrow I'll hook up the shop Streamliner to it, see what that does.

This was the first PJ I have ever played and I was impressed. I would not say that it is a middy cab, but it might be that the clarity and evenness of it make things sound 'flatter' (?). For sure NOT honky AT ALL!
Bottom wise it's pretty impressive. I play only 5 strings and this cabinet doesn't lack in lows.
These are 'different' sounding cabinet then everything on the market!
