Greetings all, This is my first time selling, so be gentle. I have a pair of PJB Pirahna bass cabinets I am looking to possibly sell. They are a 24B and 8T rig with the OEM covers and two of the 4 foot Phil Jones ($80 each) 9 gauge Speakon cables. The 24B is a 5.3 ohm cabinet and the 5T is a 16 ohm cabinet, together in parallel they are 4 ohms (Technically 3.9 ohms). So any amplifier head or power amp can drive these. Together they are rated at 3200 watts RMS, 32 five inch drivers total and are right around the size of an 8X10 cabinet in height. The 24B weighs about 170 lbs and the 8T is about 70 lbs. So at 250 lbs this will be a local pickup sale . I live in Central Illinois, and am willing to drive a reasonable distance to meet the buyer (100 or so miles). My asking price is $1500.00 for the pair. These are monstrously loud cabinets that have amazing response, articulation and flat frequency response. Be warned they are truth tellers and will amplify any shortcomings in technique, instrument or amplifier. By the way I have only pushed these with 200 (Tube), 300 and 500 watt Solid State amplifiers.
