| Pre New Year Sale! V-type Preamp For $300

Here I have the Trace Elliot V-type preamp up for a pre new year sale. Recently, I loaded it with two new JJ/Tesla ECC803S Hi-Performance 12AX7 tubes and I've played it only 2-3 hours since. Certainly you've heard a lot of good things about this preamps sound. IT's fat. It's punchy. It's versatile; it’s akin to the Alembic F1-X. The front/rear panels of this particular unit are clean but for around the rack screw holes. I'll say the condition is only as high as VG though, because the top and bottom both have their share of scratches. Also, the bass knob can be pulled off (though will not fall off) it's shaft and I'm unsure how it's supposed to tighten on.
Why am I selling it? Simply put, it just doesn't satisfy my tone cravings. Were I in a roots (or similar) band, I'm guessing I'd keep it, but that's not the case. So I'm lowering my asking price from $325 to $300 (shipped&insured) until 12:00A January 1st 2010. On the morning of 01/01/10, the price goes back up to $325.
