This is a preamp that I bought on e-bay awhile ago. It's the "preamp" from Rath-Amp company. There isn't anything that I could find as far as information on this unit except that it's from holland and designed by the guy who now works for behringer.
It is dual channel and each one has it's own effects loops. The two can be blended together. A master FX loop can be blended in as well. The unit has left and right outputs for preamp out, tube simulation out (has low-mid bump) and speaker simulated outs. Clean channel can get dirty and has bass, mid, treble and crunch controls. The od channel has bass, treble, edge, gain and gain boost controls.
I put the unit on a frequency analyzer and with the controls at noon, it has a GK kind of curve to it. With treble off, bass at noon and mid at 2 o'clock, the preamp is ruler flat. The od channel can be crunchy or sound like billy sheehan. The clean channel can be pushed to get a nice tubey od for bass. The unit sounds good for guitar but, I mostly used it for bass.
$300 shipped in us. May consider trade for GK 2001rbp preamp.
