Read Purity Tube pre-amp

I have a Read Purity tube bass preamp that is just not getting used much so up for sale it goes.
This is one of the last ones that Jack made before "hanging it up". It has an aluminum enclosure so it is a lot lighter than most (they were steel). It also had a mod done (at my request) that has the "bright" switch turned into a variable control to be able to dial in how much bright as opposed to just on or off. It's a nice feature for tailoring your top end Jack liked it so much that he did it to his personal pre-amp.

Anyways..... It hasn't been used very much and is in pretty good condition. It has the usual small amounts of rack rash etc

Hello all, I see that funkyshifty also has a Stewart 2.1 for sale. Just wanted to say that I use a Stewart 2.1 with a Read Purity and it kills!

yep. pair this up with a good poweramp and you're laughing!! and yes I do also have a stewart 2.1 for sale as well that I can make a "package deal"
All tube front end and 2100 watts of clean power - only 20 lbs!
